William C. Lobe: Born December 17, 1941
Mr. Lobe received a B.A. degree in Chemistry and Biology from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, SD and a B.S. degree in Medicine from the University of South Dakota. His business experience includes the day-to-day management activities of Lobe & Associates, LLC, a project management company.
He founded Industrial Polymer, a consortium of material and design engineers, polymer resin manufacturers, toolmakers, molders, researchers, educators, ecologists and other related disciplines to collaboratively address and develop metal-to-plastic and wood-to-plastic conversions in industrial applications. Mr. Lobe invented and owns the intellectual property rights (U. S. Patent N. 6,997,331) to an automobile wheel handling system used extensively by wheel manufacturers. Professional affiliations include Consortium Member of the Rapid Prototyping Facility, University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering and Associate of the Center for Manufacturing, University of Kentucky.
Prior experience in the business sector include founding and managing CHC, Inc., a national chain of medical diagnostic centers providing medical evaluations for the United States Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Workmen’s Compensation Boards, Federal Railroad Retirement Board, Veterans Administration and the Social Security Administration state disability evaluation agencies. At the request of the Government Accountability Office (GAO), United States Congress, he has also served as collaborating consultant regarding immigration documentation issues.
